Government regulations

Covid 19 Thermocamera

The health emergency that has hit our country and the measures taken by our government to try to manage it have led to the drafting of a decree that is now familiar to all of us: Decree Law No. 18 of 17 March 2020, the so-called Cura Italia.
Perhaps not everyone is aware, however, that this Decree, which was created to manage and regulate the Coronavirus emergency, also introduced a tax credit for the costs of sanitising work environments.
According to the Government Provisions, this tax credit is equal to 50% of the expenses incurred in 2020, up to a maximum of EUR 20,000.

On 8 April 2020, the subsequent Decree Law n.23 established the extension of the tax credit also to the expenses for the purchase of protective equipment in the workplace.

The Inland Revenue Circular

Moreover, with Circular No. 9 of 13 April 2020, the Revenue Agency provides further clarification on the matter, better specifying and expanding the scope of application: “The provision under review broadens the objective scope of the tax credit already provided for in Article 64 of Decree-Law n. 18 of 2020 for the costs of sanitising workplaces and tools, including those incurred in 2020 for the purchase of personal protective equipment (such as, for example, surgical masks, Ffp2 and Ffp3, gloves, protective visors and goggles, protective suits and footwear), or for the purchase and installation of other safety devices designed to protect workers from accidental exposure to biological agents or to ensure interpersonal safety distance (such as barriers and protective panels). Hand cleansers and disinfectants are also included.

Secure your working environment and save money with the Covid-19 thermal imaging camera!

Covid 19 Thermocamera

Our Covid-19 camera, therefore, also falls into this category. Intelligence, speed and reliability are its main features that will allow you to carry out a quick and accurate screening without the need for contact with any operator.

The Covid-19 thermal imaging camera is a true professional thermoscanner that will detect skin surface temperature (which can range from 30 to 45 C°) and possible detection of febrile states.

Not only will you be able to work safely and securely then, but from the interpretation of the circular it can be clearly understood that our Covid-19 camera can be assimilated to the safety devices mentionedand therefore fall within the application of the tax credit.
This means that you can benefit from a tax credit of 50% of the costs incurred for the Covid-19 thermal imaging camera up to a maximum of 20,000 euros.
