Further contributions to the acquisition of personal protective equipment come from the Veneto authorities. Specifically, this time it is Unioncamere Veneto that is launching a call for contributions for the purchase of PPE and prevention tools following the Covid-19 outbreak.

 

Grant level and eligible entities

The call in question has a budget of 3 million euros and is financed by the Veneto Region together with the five Chambers of Commerce operating in this area. The amount for which the contribution can be requested is 80% of the expenses incurred, up to a maximum of €4,000.00(corresponding to eligible expenses of €5,000.00 or more).
Contributions for IPR expenditure that can be claimed under this call for applications can be cumulated with the tax credit under DL 34/2020 (if claimed). In this case, an application for a grant shall be made only for the amount of expenditure that has not already been covered by the tax credit or other contribution.

Eligible for the grant are companies in the industry, crafts, commerce and services sectors which have their head office or branch in Venetoand are registered in the Register of Companies of one of the provinces of the region. These enterprises must also have the status of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, be active and not be subject to bankruptcy, compulsory or voluntary liquidation procedures, receivership, composition with creditors or similar (all the requirements of eligible entities can be consulted directly in the notice, download it here).

 

Eligible costs

Below is a list of expenses incurred that are eligible for support.

Investmentspending:

  • body temperature devices;
  • equipment for sanitising and hygienising the premises;
  • aeration tools, either through filtering and air purification equipment or through the installation of mechanical ventilation systems as an alternative to recirculation;
  • partitions, movable partitions, as well as furniture to ensure compliance with the social distancing measures between workers prescribed by legislation.

Currentexpenses:

  • filtering masks, surgical, FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3;
  • latex, vinyl and nitrile gloves;
  • eye protection devices;
  • protective clothing, such as overalls and/or gowns;
  • footwear and/or overshoes;
  • headphones and/or hats;
  • detergents and disinfectant/antiseptic solutions;
  • disinfection and sanitation services in the premises.

These expenses must have been incurred between 11 March 2020 and the date on which the application for reimbursement is submitted.
Purchases must be linked to invoices that have already been paid at the date of submission of the application for reimbursement by traceable means (e.g. bank transfer, ri.ba.).

 

Deadlines and how to apply

The application for contribution must be transmitted exclusively in telematic mode, with digital signature, through the online counter “Contributi alle imprese”, within the Webtelemaco system of Infocamere from 8:00 a.m. of 28 September 2020 to 9:00 p.m. of 28 October 2020.
