The IT solution project for Houseboat starts at the end of 2018.
The need was to enhance the corporate network by making every device connected to it totally secure. In particular:

• Reorganize and upgrade the corporate data network through the use of Active Directory services for better management of user policies.
• Make better use of existing resources by introducing virtualization services.
• Solve all the critical issues deriving from an obsolete and unmanaged data network.
• Define procedures and recovery times in the event of a crash.
• Reduce the maximum operational lockout time.
• Improve the speed of your network and devices.
• Introducing VoIP telephony services.
• Secure wi-fi networks by introducing the concepts of client isolation thanks to the use of vlan.
• Introduce application solutions to improve business management and sales processes.

IT solution after an in-depth analysis of the problems highlighted, decided to intervene through:

• Introduction of Windows Server 2016 Active Directory Services to improveuser management, general policies and permissions to access shared folders as well as policies and certification authorities on the network.
• Increase securitywith the introduction of new baremetal backup tasks.
• Installation of a new rack cabinet dedicated to both the server and the devices responsible for networking activities.
• Dell server reorganization with introduction of vmware virtualization technologies.
• Virtualization of physical environments already present on the corporate network.
• Reconfiguration and integration of the existing video surveillance system.
• Network redesign through the use of VLANs necessary for grouping connected devices by sector or activity, also managing wi-fi networks in a significant way.
• Installation and start-up of new company management software.
• Installation of a new VoIP telephone switchboard with cti client and relative Snom telephones.
• Cloud infrastructure integration for the interconnection of remote offices.
• Multi-site network configuration with ring on cloud server.
• Activation of cloud serverservices with adequate security policies.
